Cabo de Penas Sardines in Hot Sauce
Sardinas Picantonas. These-nutrient rich, sardines are fished in Galicia’s “Rias Gallegas”, and are slightly larger than the sardinillas version. They are prized for their plump and tender texture and intense flavor. It is a fish rich in calcium, vitamins and a high Omega-3 content. We love that they have health benefits. But what we love more is their taste. These are in spicy sauce and have a kick. Great as a tapa, on a salad, with bread and tomatoes, or served over rice or pasta.
